Where I first learned to throw
We're just normal guys like you looking to have some fun. Tomahawk and axe throwing is just a hobby that can be enjoyed when backpacking, camping, and whenever you feel like it.

It all started when a friend of mine showed me the ropes of hawk throwing. He said, "It's easy, you take this hawk, keep your wrist locked, and throw it about where this line is [pointing to the ground where he had drawn the throwing line]". Then I was hooked not just because I have an excuse to throw a sharp object at something, but because my wife even tried it... and liked it.

Why Did We Create This Site?

So here's the deal. This site has a bunch of resources on tomahawk throwing that I have accumulated over the years. It's here to help preserve the sport and teach people about a way to have some clean and inexpensive fun.

How come you have all of this stuff on tomahawk throwing you ask? I also own an ecommerce site - hatchetsandaxes.com. We sell throwing tomahawks to everyone including the Boy Scouts of America, The United States Army, etc...

Have you ever seen "Are you Tougher Than a Boy Scout" on National Geographic? Yeah those are our hawks...

Do We Make Our Own Tomahawks?

The short answer is no. The slightly longer answer is that the cheapest way to bring the sport to scouting organizations and everyone else nationwide is to import them. Most of our hand forged throwing tomahawks are imported to make the sport more affordable for you.
